1Deem graças ao SENHOR, porque ele é bom,

2Deem graças ao Deus dos deuses,

3Deem graças ao Senhor dos senhores,

4àquele que, sozinho, faz grandes maravilhas,

5àquele que com entendimento fez os céus,

6àquele que estendeu a terra sobre as águas,

7àquele que fez os grandes luminares,

8o sol para governar de dia,

9a lua e as estrelas para governarem de noite,

10àquele que feriu os primogênitos do Egito,

11e tirou Israel do meio deles,

12com mão forte e com braço estendido,

13àquele que dividiu o Mar Vermelho em duas partes,

14e fez Israel passar pelo meio dele,

15mas derrubou o faraó e o seu exército no Mar Vermelho,

16àquele que conduziu o seu povo pelo deserto,

17àquele que feriu grandes reis,

18e matou reis poderosos,

19Seom, rei dos amorreus,

20Ogue, rei de Basã,

21e deu a terra deles como herança,

22sim, como herança a Israel, seu servo,

23que se lembrou de nós em nossa humilhação,

24e nos livrou dos nossos adversários,

25que dá alimento a toda criatura,

26Oh, deem graças ao Deus dos céus,
