Números 3— comparação

1Esta é a história das gerações de Arão e de Moisés no dia em que o SENHOR falou com Moisés no monte Sinai.

2Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Arão: Nadabe, o primogênito, e Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

3Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes que foram ungidos, a quem ele consagrou para ministrar no ofício sacerdotal.

4Nadabe e Abiú morreram perante o SENHOR quando ofereceram fogo estranho perante o SENHOR no deserto de Sinai, e eles não tiveram filhos. Eleazar e Itamar ministraram no ofício sacerdotal na presença de Arão, seu pai.

5O SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:

6“Traga a tribo de Levi para perto, e apresente-os diante do sacerdote Arão, para que ministrem a ele.

7Eles cuidarão das obrigações dele, e das obrigações de toda a congregação diante da Tenda do Encontro, para realizarem o serviço do tabernáculo.

8Eles cuidarão de todos os utensílios da Tenda do Encontro, e das obrigações dos filhos de Israel, para realizarem o serviço do tabernáculo.

9Você dará os levitas a Arão e a seus filhos. Eles são totalmente dados a ele da parte dos filhos de Israel.

10Você nomeará Arão e seus filhos, e eles exercerão o seu sacerdócio, mas o estranho que se aproximar será morto.”

11O SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:

12“Eis que, eu tomei os levitas dentre os filhos de Israel em lugar de todos os primogênitos que abrem a madre entre os filhos de Israel; e os levitas serão meus,

13pois todos os primogênitos são meus. No dia em que eu feri todos os primogênitos na terra do Egito, eu santifiquei para mim todos os primogênitos em Israel, tanto homem quanto animal. Eles serão meus. Eu sou o SENHOR.”

14O SENHOR falou a Moisés no deserto de Sinai, dizendo:

15“Conte os filhos de Levi segundo as casas de seus pais, segundo as suas famílias. Você contará todo do sexo masculino da idade de um mês para cima.”

16Moisés os contou de acordo com a palavra do SENHOR, como lhe foi ordenado.

17Estes foram os filhos de Levi pelos seus nomes: Gérson, Coate e Merari.

18Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Gérson pelas suas famílias: Libni e Simei.

19Os filhos de Coate pelas suas famílias: Anrão, Isar, Hebrom e Uziel.

20Os filhos de Merari pelas suas famílias: Mali e Musi.

21De Gérson era a família dos libnitas, e a família dos simeítas. Estas são as famílias dos gersonitas.

22Os que foram contados deles, segundo o número de todos do sexo masculino da idade de um mês para cima, sim, os que foram contados deles eram sete mil e quinhentos.

23As famílias dos gersonitas acamparão atrás do tabernáculo, para o lado oeste.

24Eliasafa, filho de Lael, será o príncipe da casa dos pais dos gersonitas.

32Eleazar, filho do sacerdote Arão, será o príncipe dos príncipes dos levitas, com a supervisão daqueles que cuidam das obrigações do santuário.

33De Merari era a família dos malitas e a família dos musitas. Estas são as famílias de Merari.

34Os que foram contados deles, segundo o número de todos do sexo masculino da idade de um mês para cima, eram seis mil e duzentos.

35O príncipe da casa dos pais das famílias de Merari era Zuriel, filho de Abiail. Eles acamparão no lado norte do tabernáculo.

36O dever designado aos filhos de Merari serão as tábuas do tabernáculo, as suas travessas, as suas colunas, as suas bases, todos os seus utensílios, todo o seu serviço,

37as colunas do pátio ao redor, as suas bases, as suas estacas e as suas cordas.

38Os que acamparão diante do tabernáculo para o leste, em frente à Tenda do Encontro em direção ao nascer do sol, serão Moisés, com Arão e seus filhos, cuidando das obrigações do santuário para o dever dos filhos de Israel. O estranho que se aproximar será morto.

40O SENHOR disse a Moisés: “Conte todos os primogênitos do sexo masculino dos filhos de Israel da idade de um mês para cima, e tome o número dos seus nomes.

41Você tomará os levitas para mim — eu sou o SENHOR — em lugar de todos os primogênitos entre os filhos de Israel; e o rebanho dos levitas em lugar de todos os primogênitos entre o rebanho dos filhos de Israel.”

42Moisés contou, como o SENHOR lhe ordenou, todos os primogênitos entre os filhos de Israel.

43Todos os primogênitos do sexo masculino, segundo o número de nomes da idade de um mês para cima, dos que foram contados deles, eram vinte e dois mil duzentos e setenta e três.

44O SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:

45“Tome os levitas em lugar de todos os primogênitos entre os filhos de Israel, e o rebanho dos levitas em lugar do rebanho deles; e os levitas serão meus. Eu sou o SENHOR.

46Para o resgate dos duzentos e setenta e três dos primogênitos dos filhos de Israel que excedem o número dos levitas,

47você tomará cinco siclos por cabeça para cada um; segundo o siclo do santuário você os tomará (o siclo é vinte geras);

48e você dará o dinheiro, com o qual o restante deles é resgatado, a Arão e a seus filhos.”

49Moisés tomou o dinheiro do resgate daqueles que excederam o número dos que foram resgatados pelos levitas;

50dos primogênitos dos filhos de Israel ele tomou o dinheiro, mil trezentos e sessenta e cinco siclos, segundo o siclo do santuário;

51e Moisés deu o dinheiro do resgate a Arão e a seus filhos, de acordo com a palavra do SENHOR, como o SENHOR ordenou a Moisés.

1Now this is the history of the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that Yahweh spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.

2These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.

3These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.

4Nadab and Abihu died before Yahweh when they offered strange fire before Yahweh in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the presence of Aaron their father.

5Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

8They shall keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.

9You shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons. They are wholly given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel.

10You shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood, but the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.”

11Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

12“Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine,

13for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am Yahweh.”

14Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,

15“Count the children of Levi by their fathers’ houses, by their families. You shall count every male from a month old and upward.”

16Moses counted them according to Yahweh’s word, as he was commanded.

17These were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

18These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.

19The sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.

20The sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses.

21Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites. These are the families of the Gershonites.

22Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, even those who were counted of them were seven thousand five hundred.

23The families of the Gershonites shall encamp behind the tabernacle westward.

24Eliasaph the son of Lael shall be the prince of the fathers’ house of the Gershonites.

25The duty of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting shall be the tabernacle, the tent, its covering, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,

26the hangings of the court, the screen for the door of the court which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, and its cords for all of its service.

27Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, the family of the Izharites, the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites. These are the families of the Kohathites.

28According to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred keeping the requirements of the sanctuary.

29The families of the sons of Kohath shall encamp on the south side of the tabernacle.

30The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.

31Their duty shall be the ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, the screen, and all its service.

32Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be prince of the princes of the Levites, with the oversight of those who keep the requirements of the sanctuary.

33Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites and the family of the Mushites. These are the families of Merari.

34Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.

35The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They shall encamp on the north side of the tabernacle.

36The appointed duty of the sons of Merari shall be the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, all its instruments, all its service,

37the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, and their cords.

38Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, with Aaron and his sons, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel. The outsider who comes near shall be put to death.

39All who were counted of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron counted at the commandment of Yahweh, by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.

40Yahweh said to Moses, “Count all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.

41You shall take the Levites for me—I am Yahweh—instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel.”

42Moses counted, as Yahweh commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.

43All the firstborn males according to the number of names from a month old and upward, of those who were counted of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.

44Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

45“Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock; and the Levites shall be mine. I am Yahweh.

46For the redemption of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel who exceed the number of the Levites,

47you shall take five shekels apiece for each one; according to the shekel of the sanctuary you shall take them (the shekel is twenty gerahs);

48and you shall give the money, with which their remainder is redeemed, to Aaron and to his sons.”

49Moses took the redemption money from those who exceeded the number of those who were redeemed by the Levites;

50from the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary;

51and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to Yahweh’s word, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
