Levítico 19— comparação

1O SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:

2“Fale a toda a congregação dos filhos de Israel, e diga-lhes: 'Vocês serão santos; porque eu, o SENHOR, o seu Deus, sou santo.

3“'Cada um de vocês respeitará a sua mãe e o seu pai. Vocês guardarão os meus sábados. Eu sou o SENHOR, o seu Deus.

4“'Não se voltem para os ídolos, nem façam deuses de fundição para si mesmos. Eu sou o SENHOR, o seu Deus.

5“'Quando vocês oferecerem um sacrifício de ofertas pacíficas ao SENHOR, ofereçam-no de forma que sejam aceitos.

6Ele deverá ser comido no mesmo dia em que o oferecerem, e no dia seguinte. Se sobrar alguma coisa até o terceiro dia, deverá ser queimada no fogo.

7Se for comido no terceiro dia, é uma abominação. Não será aceito;

8mas todo aquele que o comer levará a sua iniquidade, porque profanou a coisa santa do SENHOR, e essa alma será eliminada do seu povo.

9“'Quando vocês fizerem a colheita da sua terra, não colherão totalmente os cantos do seu campo, nem recolherão as espigas caídas da sua colheita.

10Vocês não repassarão a sua vinha, nem recolherão as uvas caídas da sua vinha. Vocês as deixarão para o pobre e para o estrangeiro. Eu sou o SENHOR, o seu Deus.

11“'Vocês não furtarão.

12“'Vocês não jurarão falsamente pelo meu nome, profanando assim o nome do seu Deus. Eu sou o SENHOR.

13“'Você não oprimirá o seu próximo, nem o roubará.

14“'Você não amaldiçoará o surdo, nem colocará pedra de tropeço diante do cego; mas você temerá o seu Deus. Eu sou o SENHOR.

15“'Vocês não cometerão injustiça no julgamento. Você não será parcial para com o pobre, nem mostrará favoritismo para com o grande; mas você julgará o seu próximo com justiça.

16“'Você não andará como caluniador no meio do seu povo.

17“'Você não odiará o seu irmão em seu coração. Você certamente repreenderá o seu próximo, para não levar a culpa do pecado por causa dele.

18“'Você não se vingará, nem guardará rancor contra os filhos do seu povo; mas você amará o seu próximo como a si mesmo. Eu sou o SENHOR.

19“'Vocês guardarão os meus estatutos.

20“'Se um homem se deitar carnalmente com uma mulher que é escrava, prometida em casamento a outro homem, e que não foi resgatada nem recebeu a sua liberdade; eles serão punidos. Eles não serão mortos, porque ela não era livre.

21Ele trará a sua oferta pela culpa ao SENHOR, à porta da Tenda do Encontro, um carneiro como oferta pela culpa.

22O sacerdote fará expiação por ele com o carneiro da oferta pela culpa perante o SENHOR, pelo pecado que ele cometeu; e o pecado que ele cometeu lhe será perdoado.

23“'Quando vocês entrarem na terra e tiverem plantado todos os tipos de árvores frutíferas, então considerarão os seus frutos como proibidos. Por três anos eles serão proibidos para vocês. Não deverão ser comidos.

24Mas no quarto ano todos os seus frutos serão santos, como oferta de louvor ao SENHOR.

25No quinto ano vocês comerão os seus frutos, para que a sua colheita aumente para vocês. Eu sou o SENHOR, o seu Deus.

26“'Vocês não comerão carne alguma com o sangue ainda nela. Vocês não usarão encantamentos, nem praticarão feitiçaria.

27“'Vocês não cortarão o cabelo dos lados da cabeça, nem apararão as pontas da barba.

28“'Vocês não farão cortes na sua carne pelos mortos, nem farão tatuagens em vocês. Eu sou o SENHOR.

29“'Não profane a sua filha, fazendo dela uma prostituta; para que a terra não se entregue à prostituição, e a terra se encha de maldade.

30“'Vocês guardarão os meus sábados, e reverenciarão o meu santuário; Eu sou o SENHOR.

31“'Não se voltem para os médiuns, nem para os adivinhos. Não os busquem, para não serem contaminados por eles. Eu sou o SENHOR, o seu Deus.

32“'Você se levantará diante dos cabelos brancos e honrará o rosto do idoso; e você temerá o seu Deus. Eu sou o SENHOR.

33“'Se um estrangeiro viver como peregrino com vocês em sua terra, vocês não lhe farão mal.

34O estrangeiro que vive como peregrino com vocês será para vocês como o natural da terra entre vocês, e você o amará como a si mesmo; pois vocês viveram como estrangeiros na terra do Egito. Eu sou o SENHOR, o seu Deus.

35“'Vocês não cometerão injustiça no julgamento, nas medidas de comprimento, de peso ou de quantidade.

36Vocês terão balanças justas, pesos justos, um efa justo e um him justo. Eu sou o SENHOR, o seu Deus, que os tirou da terra do Egito.

37“'Vocês observarão todos os meus estatutos e todas as minhas ordenanças, e os praticarão. Eu sou o SENHOR.'”

1Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

2“Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘You shall be holy; for I, Yahweh your God, am holy.

3“‘Each one of you shall respect his mother and his father. You shall keep my Sabbaths. I am Yahweh your God.

4“‘Don’t turn to idols, nor make molten gods for yourselves. I am Yahweh your God.

5“‘When you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to Yahweh, you shall offer it so that you may be accepted.

6It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and on the next day. If anything remains until the third day, it shall be burned with fire.

7If it is eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination. It will not be accepted;

8but everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy thing of Yahweh, and that soul shall be cut off from his people.

9“‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, neither shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest.

10You shall not glean your vineyard, neither shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You shall leave them for the poor and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.

11“‘You shall not steal. “‘You shall not lie. “‘You shall not deceive one another.

12“‘You shall not swear by my name falsely, and profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.

13“‘You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. “‘The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning.

14“‘You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind; but you shall fear your God. I am Yahweh.

15“‘You shall do no injustice in judgment. You shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favoritism to the great; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness.

16“‘You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people. “‘You shall not endanger the life of your neighbor. I am Yahweh.

17“‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him.

18“‘You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Yahweh.

19“‘You shall keep my statutes. “‘You shall not cross-breed different kinds of animals. “‘You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed; “‘Don’t wear a garment made of two kinds of material.

20“‘If a man lies carnally with a woman who is a slave girl, pledged to be married to another man, and not ransomed or given her freedom; they shall be punished. They shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

21He shall bring his trespass offering to Yahweh, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, even a ram for a trespass offering.

22The priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before Yahweh for his sin which he has committed; and the sin which he has committed shall be forgiven him.

23“‘When you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as forbidden. For three years it shall be forbidden to you. It shall not be eaten.

24But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, for giving praise to Yahweh.

25In the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, that it may yield its increase to you. I am Yahweh your God.

26“‘You shall not eat any meat with the blood still in it. You shall not use enchantments, nor practice sorcery.

27“‘You shall not cut the hair on the sides of your head or clip off the edge of your beard.

28“‘You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you. I am Yahweh.

29“‘Don’t profane your daughter, to make her a prostitute; lest the land fall to prostitution, and the land become full of wickedness.

30“‘You shall keep my Sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary; I am Yahweh.

31“‘Don’t turn to those who are mediums, nor to the wizards. Don’t seek them out, to be defiled by them. I am Yahweh your God.

32“‘You shall rise up before the gray head and honor the face of the elderly; and you shall fear your God. I am Yahweh.

33“‘If a stranger lives as a foreigner with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong.

34The stranger who lives as a foreigner with you shall be to you as the native-born among you, and you shall love him as yourself; for you lived as foreigners in the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.

35“‘You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in measures of length, of weight, or of quantity.

36You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin. I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.

37“‘You shall observe all my statutes and all my ordinances, and do them. I am Yahweh.’”
