Filipenses 4— comparação

1Portanto, meus irmãos, amados e de quem tenho saudade, minha alegria e coroa, permaneçam firmes no Senhor desta maneira, meus amados.

2Exorto Evódia e exorto Síntique a pensarem da mesma maneira no Senhor.

3Sim, peço a você também, verdadeiro companheiro, que ajude estas mulheres, pois elas trabalharam arduamente comigo no Evangelho, junto com Clemente e o restante dos meus cooperadores, cujos nomes estão no livro da vida.

4Alegrem-se no Senhor sempre! Outra vez direi: “Alegrem-se!”

5Que a sua amabilidade seja conhecida por todos os homens. O Senhor está perto.

6Não andem ansiosos por coisa alguma, mas em tudo, pela oração e súplica com ações de graças, que os seus pedidos sejam conhecidos diante de Deus.

7E a paz de Deus, que excede todo o entendimento, guardará os seus corações e os seus pensamentos em Cristo Jesus.

8Finalmente, irmãos, tudo o que é verdadeiro, tudo o que é respeitável, tudo o que é justo, tudo o que é puro, tudo o que é amável, tudo o que é de boa fama: se há alguma virtude e se há algo digno de louvor, pensem nestas coisas.

9Ponham em prática as coisas que vocês aprenderam, receberam, ouviram e viram em mim, e o Deus de paz estará com vocês.

10Mas eu me alegro grandemente no Senhor porque agora, finalmente, vocês reviveram o seu cuidado por mim; com o qual vocês de fato se preocupavam, mas lhes faltava oportunidade.

11Não que eu fale por causa de necessidade, pois aprendi a estar contente em qualquer situação em que me encontre.

12Sei como ser humilhado e também sei como ter abundância. Em toda e qualquer circunstância, aprendi o segredo tanto de estar farto quanto de ter fome, tanto de ter abundância quanto de passar necessidade.

13Posso todas as coisas por meio de Cristo que me fortalece.

14No entanto, vocês fizeram bem em compartilhar da minha aflição.

15Vocês mesmos também sabem, filipenses, que no princípio do Evangelho, quando parti da Macedônia, nenhuma igreja participou comigo na questão de dar e receber, exceto apenas vocês.

16Pois mesmo em Tessalônica vocês enviaram ajuda para a minha necessidade, uma e outra vez.

17Não que eu busque a oferta, mas busco o fruto que aumenta para a conta de vocês.

18Mas tenho todas as coisas e em abundância. Estou plenamente suprido, tendo recebido de Epafrodito as coisas que vieram de vocês, um aroma suave, um sacrifício aceitável e muito agradável a Deus.

19O meu Deus suprirá cada uma das necessidades de vocês, segundo as suas riquezas em glória, em Cristo Jesus.

20Agora, ao nosso Deus e Pai seja a glória para todo o sempre! Amém.

21Saúdem a cada santo em Cristo Jesus. Os irmãos que estão comigo saúdam vocês.

22Todos os santos saúdam vocês, especialmente aqueles que são da casa de César.

23A graça do Senhor Jesus Cristo seja com todos vocês. Amém.

1Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.

2I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.

3Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

4Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”

5Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

6In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

8Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

9Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

10But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.

11Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.

12I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

13I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

14However you did well that you shared in my affliction.

15You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

16For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.

17Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.

18But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.

19My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

20Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen.

21Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you.

22All the saints greet you, especially those who are of Caesar’s household.

23The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
