Ezequiel 25— comparação

1A palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:

2“Filho do homem, volte o seu rosto contra os filhos de Amom e profetize contra eles.

3Diga aos filhos de Amom: 'Ouçam a palavra do Senhor DEUS! Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Porque vocês disseram: 'Ahá!' contra o meu santuário quando foi profanado, e contra a terra de Israel quando foi assolada, e contra a casa de Judá quando foram para o cativeiro,

4portanto, eis que entregarei vocês aos filhos do oriente como propriedade. Eles armarão os seus acampamentos em seu território e farão as suas moradas entre vocês. Eles comerão os seus frutos e beberão o seu leite.

5Farei de Rabá um estábulo para camelos e dos filhos de Amom um lugar de descanso para rebanhos. Então vocês saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.”

6Pois assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Porque vocês bateram palmas, bateram os pés e se alegraram com todo o desprezo de suas almas contra a terra de Israel,

7portanto, eis que estendi a minha mão sobre vocês, e os entregarei como despojo às nações. Eu os eliminarei dentre os povos, e farei com que pereçam dentre os países. Eu os destruirei. Então vocês saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.”

8“'Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Porque Moabe e Seir dizem: 'Eis que a casa de Judá é como todas as nações',

9portanto, eis que abrirei o flanco de Moabe a partir das cidades, das suas cidades que estão nas suas fronteiras, a glória do país, Bete-Jesimote, Baal-Meom e Quiriataim,

10aos filhos do oriente, para irem contra os filhos de Amom; e eu os entregarei como propriedade, para que os filhos de Amom não sejam mais lembrados entre as nações.

11Executarei juízos sobre Moabe. Então eles saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.”

12“'Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Porque Edom agiu contra a casa de Judá tomando vingança, e ofendeu gravemente, vingando-se deles”,

13portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Estenderei a minha mão sobre Edom, e eliminarei dele homens e animais; e o tornarei desolado a partir de Temã. Eles cairão à espada até Dedã.

14Executarei a minha vingança sobre Edom pela mão do meu povo Israel. Eles farão em Edom segundo a minha ira e segundo o meu furor. Então eles conhecerão a minha vingança”, diz o Senhor DEUS.

15“'Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Porque os filisteus se vingaram, e tomaram vingança com desprezo na alma para destruir com hostilidade perpétua”,

16portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Eis que estenderei a minha mão sobre os filisteus, eliminarei os quereteus e destruirei o remanescente da costa do mar.

17Executarei neles grande vingança com repreensões furiosas. Então eles saberão que eu sou o SENHOR, quando eu trouxer a minha vingança sobre eles.”'”

1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

2“Son of man, set your face toward the children of Ammon, and prophesy against them.

3Tell the children of Ammon, ‘Hear the word of the Lord Yahweh! The Lord Yahweh says, “Because you said, ‘Aha!’ against my sanctuary when it was profaned, and against the land of Israel when it was made desolate, and against the house of Judah when they went into captivity,

4therefore, behold, I will deliver you to the children of the east for a possession. They will set their encampments in you and make their dwellings in you. They will eat your fruit and they will drink your milk.

5I will make Rabbah a stable for camels and the children of Ammon a resting place for flocks. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”

6For the Lord Yahweh says: “Because you have clapped your hands, stamped with the feet, and rejoiced with all the contempt of your soul against the land of Israel,

7therefore, behold, I have stretched out my hand on you, and will deliver you for a plunder to the nations. I will cut you off from the peoples, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.”

8“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because Moab and Seir say, ‘Behold, the house of Judah is like all the nations,’

9therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on its frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth Jeshimoth, Baal Meon, and Kiriathaim,

10to the children of the east, to go against the children of Ammon; and I will give them for a possession, that the children of Ammon may not be remembered among the nations.

11I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.”

12“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and taken revenge on them,”

13therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “I will stretch out my hand on Edom, and will cut off man and animal from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman. They will fall by the sword even to Dedan.

14I will lay my vengeance on Edom by the hand of my people Israel. They will do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath. Then they will know my vengeance,” says the Lord Yahweh.

15“‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because the Philistines have taken revenge, and have taken vengeance with contempt of soul to destroy with perpetual hostility,”

16therefore the Lord Yahweh says, “Behold, I will stretch out my hand on the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

17I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I lay my vengeance on them.”’”
