Ezequiel 13— comparação

1A palavra do SENHOR veio a mim, dizendo:

2“Filho do homem, profetize contra os profetas de Israel que estão profetizando, e diga àqueles que profetizam a partir do seu próprio coração: 'Ouçam a palavra do SENHOR:

3Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Ai dos profetas insensatos, que seguem o seu próprio espírito e não viram nada!

4Ó Israel, os seus profetas têm sido como raposas entre as ruínas.

5Vocês não subiram às brechas, nem construíram o muro para a casa de Israel, para que pudessem resistir na batalha no dia do SENHOR.

6Eles viram falsidade e adivinhação mentirosa, os que dizem: 'O SENHOR diz'; mas o SENHOR não os enviou. Eles fizeram as pessoas esperar que a palavra se confirmasse.

7Acaso vocês não viram uma visão falsa e não falaram uma adivinhação mentirosa, quando dizem: 'O SENHOR diz', sendo que eu não falei?”

8“'Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Porque vocês falaram falsidade e viram mentiras, portanto, eis que eu sou contra vocês”, diz o Senhor DEUS.

9“Minha mão será contra os profetas que veem visões falsas e que proferem adivinhações mentirosas. Eles não estarão no conselho do meu povo, nem serão inscritos no registro da casa de Israel, nem entrarão na terra de Israel. Então vocês saberão que eu sou o Senhor DEUS.”

10“'Porque, sim, porque seduziram o meu povo, dizendo: “Paz”; e não há paz. Quando alguém constrói um muro, eis que eles o rebocam com cal.

11Diga àqueles que o rebocam com cal que ele cairá. Haverá uma chuva torrencial; e vocês, grandes pedras de granizo, cairão. Um vento tempestuoso o despedaçará.

12Eis que, quando o muro tiver caído, não lhes perguntarão: “Onde está o reboco com o qual vocês o rebocaram?”

13“'Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: “Eu o despedaçarei com um vento tempestuoso na minha fúria. Haverá uma chuva torrencial na minha ira, e grandes pedras de granizo com furor para consumi-lo.

14Assim derrubarei o muro que vocês rebocaram com cal, e o lançarei por terra, de modo que o seu alicerce seja descoberto. Ele cairá, e vocês serão consumidos no meio dele. Então vocês saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.

15Assim cumprirei a minha fúria contra o muro e contra aqueles que o rebocaram com cal. E eu lhes direi: 'O muro já não existe, nem aqueles que o rebocaram —

16a saber, os profetas de Israel que profetizam a respeito de Jerusalém, e que veem visões de paz para ela, quando não há paz'”, diz o Senhor DEUS.'”

17Você, filho do homem, volte o seu rosto contra as filhas do seu povo, que profetizam a partir do seu próprio coração; e profetize contra elas,

18e diga: “Assim diz o Senhor DEUS: 'Ai das mulheres que costuram fitas mágicas em todos os cotovelos e fazem véus para a cabeça de pessoas de toda estatura para caçar almas! Acaso vocês caçarão as almas do meu povo e preservarão almas vivas para si mesmas?

19Vocês me profanaram entre o meu povo por punhados de cevada e por pedaços de pão, para matar as almas que não deveriam morrer e para preservar vivas as almas que não deveriam viver, mentindo ao meu povo, que dá ouvidos a mentiras.'

20“Portanto, assim diz o Senhor DEUS: 'Eis que eu sou contra as suas fitas mágicas, com as quais vocês caçam as almas para fazê-las voar, e eu as arrancarei dos seus braços. Deixarei voar livres as almas, as mesmas almas que vocês prendem como pássaros.

21Também rasgarei os seus véus e livrarei o meu povo das suas mãos; e eles não estarão mais nas suas mãos para serem presos. Então vocês saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.

22Porque com mentiras vocês entristeceram o coração do justo, a quem eu não entristeci; e fortaleceram as mãos do ímpio, para que ele não se desvie do seu mau caminho e salve a sua vida.

23Portanto, vocês não verão mais visões falsas nem praticarão adivinhação. Eu livrarei o meu povo das suas mãos. Então vocês saberão que eu sou o SENHOR.'”

1Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,

2“Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, ‘Hear Yahweh’s word:

3The Lord Yahweh says, “Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

4Israel, your prophets have been like foxes in the waste places.

5You have not gone up into the gaps or built up the wall for the house of Israel, to stand in the battle in Yahweh’s day.

6They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say, ‘Yahweh says;’ but Yahweh has not sent them. They have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.

7Haven’t you seen a false vision, and haven’t you spoken a lying divination, in that you say, ‘Yahweh says;’ but I have not spoken?”

8“‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Because you have spoken falsehood and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you,” says the Lord Yahweh.

9“My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and who utter lying divinations. They will not be in the council of my people, neither will they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither will they enter into the land of Israel. Then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”

10“‘Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, “Peace;” and there is no peace. When one builds up a wall, behold, they plaster it with whitewash.

11Tell those who plaster it with whitewash that it will fall. There will be an overflowing shower; and you, great hailstones, will fall. A stormy wind will tear it.

12Behold, when the wall has fallen, won’t it be said to you, “Where is the plaster with which you have plastered it?”

13“‘Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “I will even tear it with a stormy wind in my wrath. There will be an overflowing shower in my anger, and great hailstones in wrath to consume it.

14So I will break down the wall that you have plastered with whitewash, and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered. It will fall, and you will be consumed in the middle of it. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

15Thus I will accomplish my wrath on the wall, and on those who have plastered it with whitewash. I will tell you, ‘The wall is no more, nor those who plastered it—

16to wit, the prophets of Israel who prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace,’” says the Lord Yahweh.’”

17You, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, who prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy against them,

18and say, “The Lord Yahweh says: ‘Woe to the women who sew magic bands on all elbows and make veils for the head of persons of every stature to hunt souls! Will you hunt the souls of my people and save souls alive for yourselves?

19You have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to kill the souls who should not die and to save the souls alive who should not live, by your lying to my people who listen to lies.’

20“Therefore the Lord Yahweh says: ‘Behold, I am against your magic bands, with which you hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms. I will let the souls fly free, even the souls whom you ensnare like birds.

21I will also tear your veils and deliver my people out of your hand; and they will no longer be in your hand to be ensnared. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.

22Because with lies you have grieved the heart of the righteous, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, and be saved alive.

23Therefore you shall no more see false visions nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’”
