2 Timóteo 4— comparação

1Eu lhe ordeno, portanto, diante de Deus e do Senhor Jesus Cristo, que julgará os vivos e os mortos na sua vinda e no seu Reino:

2pregue a palavra; insista a tempo e fora de tempo; repreenda, censure e exorte com toda a paciência e ensino.

3Pois virá o tempo em que não darão ouvidos à sã doutrina, mas, tendo comichão nos ouvidos, amontoarão para si mesmos mestres segundo as suas próprias paixões,

4e desviarão os ouvidos da verdade, voltando-se para as fábulas.

5Mas você, seja sóbrio em todas as coisas, suporte as aflições, faça a obra de um evangelista e cumpra o seu ministério.

6Pois eu já estou sendo oferecido como libação, e o tempo da minha partida chegou.

7Combati o bom combate. Terminei a corrida. Guardei a fé.

8Desde agora, a coroa da justiça me está guardada, a qual o Senhor, o justo juiz, me dará naquele dia; e não somente a mim, mas também a todos os que amaram a sua vinda.

9Procure vir a mim em breve,

10pois Demas me abandonou, tendo amado este mundo presente, e foi para Tessalônica; Crescente para a Galácia; e Tito para a Dalmácia.

11Somente Lucas está comigo. Tome Marcos e traga-o com você, pois ele me é útil para o serviço.

12Mas enviei Tíquico a Éfeso.

13Quando você vier, traga a capa que deixei em Trôade com Carpo — e os livros, especialmente os pergaminhos.

14Alexandre, o latoeiro, me fez muito mal. O Senhor lhe retribuirá segundo as suas obras.

15Tenha cuidado com ele, pois ele se opôs fortemente às nossas palavras.

16Na minha primeira defesa, ninguém veio me ajudar, mas todos me abandonaram. Que isso não seja levado em conta contra eles.

17Mas o Senhor esteve ao meu lado e me fortaleceu, para que através de mim a mensagem fosse plenamente proclamada, e que todos os gentios a ouvissem. Assim, fui liberto da boca do leão.

18E o Senhor me livrará de toda obra maligna e me preservará para o seu Reino celestial. A ele seja a glória para todo o sempre. Amém.

20Erasto permaneceu em Corinto, mas deixei Trófimo doente em Mileto.

21Procure vir antes do inverno. Êubulo o saúda, assim como Pudente, Lino, Cláudia e todos os irmãos.

22O Senhor Jesus Cristo seja com o seu espírito. A graça seja com vocês. Amém.

1I command you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his Kingdom:

2preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all patience and teaching.

3For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts,

4and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn away to fables.

5But you be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, and fulfill your ministry.

6For I am already being offered, and the time of my departure has come.

7I have fought the good fight. I have finished the course. I have kept the faith.

8From now on, the crown of righteousness is stored up for me, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing.

9Be diligent to come to me soon,

10for Demas left me, having loved this present world, and went to Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia; and Titus to Dalmatia.

11Only Luke is with me. Take Mark and bring him with you, for he is useful to me for service.

12But I sent Tychicus to Ephesus.

13Bring the cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus when you come—and the books, especially the parchments.

14Alexander the coppersmith did much evil to me. The Lord will repay him according to his deeds.

15Beware of him, for he greatly opposed our words.

16At my first defense, no one came to help me, but all left me. May it not be held against them.

17But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, that through me the message might be fully proclaimed, and that all the Gentiles might hear. So I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

18And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and will preserve me for his heavenly Kingdom. To him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

19Greet Prisca and Aquila, and the house of Onesiphorus.

20Erastus remained at Corinth, but I left Trophimus at Miletus sick.

21Be diligent to come before winter. Eubulus salutes you, as do Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the brothers.

22The Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.
