1 Crônicas 26— comparação

1Quanto às divisões dos porteiros: dos coreítas, Meselemias, filho de Coré, dos filhos de Asafe.

2Meselemias teve filhos: Zacarias, o primogênito, Jediael, o segundo, Zebadias, o terceiro, Jatniel, o quarto,

3Elão, o quinto, Joanã, o sexto, e Elioenai, o sétimo.

4Obede-Edom teve filhos: Semaías, o primogênito, Jeozabade, o segundo, Joá, o terceiro, Sacar, o quarto, Natanael, o quinto,

5Amiel, o sexto, Issacar, o sétimo, e Peuletai, o oitavo; pois Deus o havia abençoado.

6Também nasceram filhos a Semaías, seu filho, que governaram sobre a casa de seu pai; pois eram homens valentes.

7Os filhos de Semaías: Otni, Rafael, Obede e Elzabade, cujos parentes eram homens valentes, Eliú e Semaquias.

8Todos estes foram dos filhos de Obede-Edom, com seus filhos e seus irmãos, homens capazes e fortes para o serviço: sessenta e dois de Obede-Edom.

9Meselemias teve filhos e irmãos, dezoito homens valentes.

10Também Hosa, dos filhos de Merari, teve filhos: Sinri, o chefe (pois, embora não fosse o primogênito, seu pai o constituiu chefe),

11Hilquias, o segundo, Tebalias, o terceiro, e Zacarias, o quarto. Todos os filhos e irmãos de Hosa foram treze.

12Destes se fizeram as divisões dos porteiros, isto é, dos homens principais, que tinham cargos como seus irmãos, para ministrarem na casa do SENHOR.

13Eles lançaram sortes, tanto os pequenos como os grandes, de acordo com as casas de seus pais, para cada porta.

14A sorte para o leste caiu para Selemias. Então, para Zacarias, seu filho, um sábio conselheiro, lançaram sortes; e a sua sorte saiu para o norte.

15Para Obede-Edom, para o sul; e para seus filhos, o depósito.

16Para Supim e Hosa, para o oeste, junto à porta de Salequete, no caminho de subida, guarda de frente para guarda.

17Ao leste ficavam seis levitas, ao norte quatro por dia, ao sul quatro por dia, e para o depósito, de dois em dois.

18Para Parbar, ao oeste, quatro no caminho, e dois em Parbar.

19Estas foram as divisões dos porteiros; dos filhos dos coreítas e dos filhos de Merari.

20Dos levitas, Aías estava encarregado dos tesouros da casa de Deus e dos tesouros das coisas consagradas.

21Os filhos de Ladã, os filhos dos gersonitas pertencentes a Ladã, os chefes das casas paternas pertencentes a Ladã, o gersonita: Jeieli.

22Os filhos de Jeieli: Zetã, e Joel, seu irmão, encarregados dos tesouros da casa do SENHOR.

23Dos amramitas, dos isaritas, dos hebronitas, dos uzielitas:

24Sebuel, filho de Gérson, filho de Moisés, era o chefe encarregado dos tesouros.

25Seus irmãos: de Eliézer, Reabias, seu filho, e Jesaías, seu filho, e Jorão, seu filho, e Zicri, seu filho, e Selomote, seu filho.

26Este Selomote e seus irmãos estavam encarregados de todos os tesouros das coisas consagradas, que o rei Davi, e os chefes das casas paternas, os capitães de milhares e de centenas, e os capitães do exército, haviam consagrado.

27Eles consagraram parte dos despojos ganhos em batalhas para reparar a casa do SENHOR.

28Tudo o que Samuel, o vidente, Saul, filho de Quis, Abner, filho de Ner, e Joabe, filho de Zeruia, haviam consagrado, todo aquele que havia consagrado alguma coisa, estava nas mãos de Selomote e de seus irmãos.

29Dos isaritas, Quenanias e seus filhos foram designados para os negócios externos sobre Israel, como oficiais e juízes.

30Dos hebronitas, Hasabias e seus irmãos, mil e setecentos homens valentes, tinham a supervisão de Israel além do Jordão, para o oeste, para todos os negócios do SENHOR e para o serviço do rei.

31Dos hebronitas, Jerias era o chefe dos hebronitas, de acordo com as suas gerações pelas casas paternas. Eles foram procurados no quadragésimo ano do reinado de Davi, e homens valentes e poderosos foram encontrados entre eles em Jazer de Gileade.

32Seus parentes, homens valentes, eram dois mil e setecentos, chefes de casas paternas, a quem o rei Davi constituiu supervisores sobre os rubenitas, os gaditas e a meia tribo dos manassitas, para todos os assuntos pertinentes a Deus e para os negócios do rei.

6Sons were also born to Shemaiah his son, who ruled over the house of their father; for they were mighty men of valor.

7The sons of Shemaiah: Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad, whose relatives were valiant men, Elihu, and Semachiah.

8All these were of the sons of Obed-Edom with their sons and their brothers, able men in strength for the service: sixty-two of Obed-Edom.

9Meshelemiah had sons and brothers, eighteen valiant men.

10Also Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons: Shimri the chief (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him chief),

11Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, and Zechariah the fourth. All the sons and brothers of Hosah were thirteen.

12Of these were the divisions of the doorkeepers, even of the chief men, having offices like their brothers, to minister in Yahweh’s house.

13They cast lots, the small as well as the great, according to their fathers’ houses, for every gate.

14The lot eastward fell to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah his son, a wise counselor, they cast lots; and his lot came out northward.

15To Obed-Edom southward; and to his sons the storehouse.

16To Shuppim and Hosah westward, by the gate of Shallecheth, at the causeway that goes up, watchman opposite watchman.

17Eastward were six Levites, northward four a day, southward four a day, and for the storehouse two and two.

18For Parbar westward, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar.

19These were the divisions of the doorkeepers; of the sons of the Korahites, and of the sons of Merari.

20Of the Levites, Ahijah was over the treasures of God’s house and over the treasures of the dedicated things.

21The sons of Ladan, the sons of the Gershonites belonging to Ladan, the heads of the fathers’ households belonging to Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli.

22The sons of Jehieli: Zetham, and Joel his brother, over the treasures of Yahweh’s house.

23Of the Amramites, of the Izharites, of the Hebronites, of the Uzzielites:

24Shebuel the son of Gershom, the son of Moses, was ruler over the treasuries.

25His brothers: of Eliezer, Rehabiah his son, and Jeshaiah his son, and Joram his son, and Zichri his son, and Shelomoth his son.

26This Shelomoth and his brothers were over all the treasuries of the dedicated things, which David the king, and the heads of the fathers’ households, the captains over thousands and hundreds, and the captains of the army, had dedicated.

27They dedicated some of the plunder won in battles to repair Yahweh’s house.

28All that Samuel the seer, Saul the son of Kish, Abner the son of Ner, and Joab the son of Zeruiah had dedicated, whoever had dedicated anything, it was under the hand of Shelomoth and of his brothers.

29Of the Izharites, Chenaniah and his sons were appointed to the outward business over Israel, for officers and judges.

30Of the Hebronites, Hashabiah and his brothers, one thousand seven hundred men of valor, had the oversight of Israel beyond the Jordan westward, for all the business of Yahweh and for the service of the king.

31Of the Hebronites, Jerijah was the chief of the Hebronites, according to their generations by fathers’ households. They were sought for in the fortieth year of the reign of David, and mighty men of valor were found among them at Jazer of Gilead.

32His relatives, men of valor, were two thousand seven hundred, heads of fathers’ households, whom King David made overseers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God and for the affairs of the king.
